The 28,39% of Madrid residents have come to vote until 1:00 p.m. this Tuesday according to data provided by the Community of Madrid, 2.21 more points than in the 2019 elections.
The long lines that have been seen since early in the morning in the polling stations have resulted in a increased participation regarding the 2019 regional elections when, until the same time, the 26,18% of those registered.
The electoral colleges constituted in the Community of Madrid have opened at 9:00 a.m. so that the 5.1 million voters summoned to exercise their right to vote in regional elections.
For the election day they have been constituted 7,265 polling stations in 1,084 stores. The schools where voting will be held will close at 8:00 p.m., at which time the vote count will begin.
