The autonomous communities have notified this Tuesday to the Ministry of Health 4,515 new cases of coronavirus, of which 2,431 have been diagnosed in the last 24 hours, compared to the 1,812 registered on Monday, which brings to 3,544,945 the total number of people infected with Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
Nevertheless, 1,837 duplicate cases have been eliminated from Catalonia generated due to a technical error in the data upload on April 23rd.
According to the cumulative incidence in the last 14 days, the report shows that it continues to decline, standing at 213.90 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to the 223.7 reported yesterday by the department led by Carolina Darias.
Of the 2,431 people diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last day, 338 have been located in Madrid, although 108 in Andalusia, 194 in Aragon, 71 in Asturias, 13 in the Balearic Islands, 121 in Canary Islands, 83 in Cantabria, 23 in Castilla-La Mancha, 275 in Castilla y León, 160 in Catalonia, two in Ceuta, 47 in Valencian Community, 72 in Extremadura, 79 in Galicia, 14 in Melilla, 64 in Murcia, 122 in Navarra, 614 in the Basque Country and 31 in La Rioja.
As for those who died from Covid-19, this Tuesday 213 more have been notified, of which 210 have been registered in the last week. This brings the global death toll from coronavirus in Spain to 78,399 people.
Regarding deaths, Health has already registered 9,666 deaths in Andalusia; on Aragon 3,446; in Asturias 1,945; in the Balearic Islands 823; in the Canary Islands 732; on Cantabria 557; in Castilla-La Mancha 5,861; and in Castile and Leon 6.775 .
In addition, 14,191 people have died in Catalonia as a result of the coronavirus; in Ceuta 107 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic; in the Valencian Community 7,318; on Estremadura 1,791; in Galicia 2,378; on Madrid 15,016; in Melilla 90; in Murcia 1,590; in Navarra 1,164; in the Basque Country 4,189; and in The Rioja 760.
There are currently 9,592 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain and 2,292 in an ICU, although in the last 24 hours there have been 879 admissions and 980 discharges. The occupancy rate of beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 7.66% and in ICUs at 22.89%.
In Spain they have been administered until this Tuesday 17,430,810 doses doses of vaccines against Covid-19 of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen, 82.6% of those distributed among the autonomous communities, amounting to 21,092,475 units.
Data from the department headed by Carolina Darias indicate that in that period 13,664,235 doses of the vaccine have been received in Spain. Pfizer, of which 13,647,075 have been delivered, 12,110,661 doses have been administered, 7,454,579 have received one and 4,656,082 both.
Likewise, Spain has received 1,776,000 doses of the Modern, all have already been distributed to the autonomous communities, and 1,135,535 doses have been administered, although 724,866 have received one dose and 385,751 the two doses.
Regarding the vaccine AstraZeneca, The report published this Tuesday by the Ministry of Health indicates that 3,945,390 have been administered, although 3,945,390 people have already been inoculated with one dose and 283 both.
