A man with a heavy criminal past who broke into his ex-wife’s home illegally is wanted by the Saint-Eustache police. Joseph Afriyie, who could be in Montreal, Saint-Jérôme or Chertsey, will face several charges in a context of violence.
Mr. Afriyie reportedly visited his former wife’s home in Saint-Eustache on April 5. He allegedly broke into the residence. According to the act of denunciation, the man would have committed an armed attack against two people present at the scene. The document also refers to assault.
On its Facebook page, the police force posted a photo of the 35-year-old on Thursday and called for help from citizens to find him quickly. The police complete their description by indicating that the man is 175 cm tall and weighs 82 kg.
The Police Department of the City of Saint-Eustache is asking the public for help in locating Joseph Afriyie, 35 years old.
The suspect, who does not appear to have a fixed address, is driving a brown 2009 Kia Rondo vehicle, police say. The automobile is registered P48 WLJ.
