Images of a meteorite in the sky of Alberta

Early on on February 22, citizens of Alberta, British Columbia and the state of Montana captured images of a meteorite piercing the sky.

Images from surveillance cameras installed on smart doorbells (Nest, Ring, etc.) were released by the American Meteor Society. According to an expert interviewed by the Canadian channel CTV, the size of the meteorite is similar to that of a beach ball.

The American Meteor Society has received over 400 reports of the meteorite’s presence, including over 100 videos.
