Maryland | Frederick police investigate shooting that left one injured

On the afternoon of this Sunday, February 21, around 4:10 pm, agents from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 900 block of Mosby Drive for reports of shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a man shot in the upper body. The victim was taken to a nearby medical center with injuries that were not considered serious.

According to witnesses, when the victim parked his vehicle, a subject stopped and fired a firearm in his direction. The suspect left the area in a silver sedan.

Authorities asked that anyone in the area who has observed anything unusual or who may have cameras contact the Frederick Police Department.
