Struck by a bus: a pedestrian in critical condition in Montreal

A 27-year-old woman was between life and death on Friday night after being struck by a bus in downtown Montreal.

At around 5 p.m., an exo bus was traveling eastbound on Saint-Antoine Street, before making a turn to park in the terminus at the corner of Mansfield Street.

While doing so, he collided with a pedestrian.

According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the young woman is in critical condition. We seriously fear for his life, we added.

Shortly after 8 p.m., the terminus was still closed to allow the police to shed light on the circumstances of this accident.

Rue Saint-Antoine is also closed to traffic in the area.
