Samsung Canada has announced an extension of its partnership with Centennial College Toronto in its Electronic Engineering Technician program until 2023.
Through the agreement, the Samsung Tech Institute and Electronic Engineering Technician curricula are combined to offer more comprehensive instruction in electronic engineering.
The program provides students with a fully functioning appliance and digital service lab on Centennial’s Progress Campus.
Samsung says this initiative has supported more than 275 Centennial students over the past five years, with some now working at its service centers in Ontario.
Additionally, students learn about mobile app development and appliance specialty training, while also offering the opportunity for cooperative and professional placements and $ 1,000 scholarships.
