Netflix has revealed a reel trailer containing footage from 27 of its original movies releasing this year.

Some of the featured films include action comedy. Red notice with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Gal Gadot and Vancouver’s own Ryan Reynolds; the third and last installment of To all the boys and Kissing booth series, political satire Don’t look up with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence; the western directed by Idris Elba / Regina King The harder they fall and zombie thriller Army of the dead starring Dave Bautista.
As is, none of these movies have specific release dates. Overall, Netflix has 71 movies scheduled to release this year, by Variety, and the transmitter says at least one will drop each week.
However, it is worth noting that this number could increase during the year if Netflix acquires any movies. Last year, several studios sold their movies to Netflix amid COVID-19 pandemic, including Kumail Nanjiani-Issa Rae’s romantic comedy The lovebirds, Aaron Sorkin The Chicago 7 trial and the one led by Millie Bobby Brown Enola Holmes.
With the 2021 theatrical landscape looking uncertain (especially since studios like Warner Bros. bring their movies to streaming services), it is quite possible that a large number of additional movies will be sold to Netflix and released throughout the year.
