Czech Republic: Boy survives falling from the 19th floor

Ein 15-year-old boy survived a fall from the 19th floor of a residential building in the Czech capital, Prague. “We were notified after a person most likely fell from the 19th floor,” said a Prague police spokeswoman for the AFP news agency. According to Czech media, the boy was lucky and the impact was cushioned by a small roof over the house entrance.

The young person suffered serious injuries to his head and pelvis, as the city’s rescue workers announced in the short message service Twitter. Accordingly, the 15-year-old was placed in an artificial coma in the hospital. The police are now investigating the cause of the fall.
