Some iPhone 12 series owners report that they have experienced problems with the OLED screen of smartphones, causing a greenish tint and flickering.
Reports began to appear on Apple Support Communities page, and there is also no solution to the problem yet. Along with the screenshot (seen below), the Apple support forum user posted a video of the flicker / tint issuem4x1K.
According to MacRumors, which obtained an internal document sent to authorized service providers, Apple is aware of the problem and has advised technicians not to repair iPhones experiencing this glitch.
The document reportedly says that technicians should tell iPhone 12 users to keep their software up-to-date, suggesting there is a chance that the problem will be fixed by a software update.
The issue appears to be affecting all four iPhone 12 models, including the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, and reportedly begins when the smartphone screen is set to a level of brightness below 90 percent.
