The popular musician, Kanye West, used more than $ 9 million to run for president of the United States, winning him about 60,000 votes in the 12 states where he appeared on the ballot, meaning each vote cost the rapper about $ 150.

The Federal Election Commission report showed that West used $ 10 million of his own money for his campaign, received $ 1 million in donations, and ultimately did not spend nearly $ 1.1 million, as reported in CNet.

The rapper was on the ballot in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont. Of all these, West fared better in Tennessee, where he got more than 10,000 votes.

West tweeted a video casting his vote, apparently in Wyoming. Apparently, the rapper wrote his name and left the rest of the ballot blank. He also named his “personal and spiritual life coach” Michelle Tidball as vice president.
