Quebec reports ten new deaths on Monday as well as 808 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, a slight decrease from the plateau observed for four weeks.
The death toll for the province now stands at 6,153 in the province. This increase is slightly lower than the average of 15 deaths per day reported for a week.
The 808 new cases reported on Monday represent a drop from the plateau of 1,000 cases observed for four weeks. However, it is too early to see a clear downward trend in this. Since the start of the pandemic, 100,922 people have been infected.
The number of people hospitalized edged down to 543, down eight from the previous day. Of these, 93 are in intensive care.
More details to come.
