The Halifax Mooseheads scored seven goals in the third period, en route to a 10-2 win over the Cape Breton Eagles on Saturday in Sydney. Elliot Desnoyers stole the show among the visitors with his four-goal production.

The Eagles were still in the game after 40 minutes when they were down 3-1. Robert Orr got the ball rolling for the Mooseheads early in the third, who scored six goals before the Eagles replied.
Desnoyers scored three of his four goals in the last engagement. Landon Miron hit the target twice while Jordan Dumais collected four assists.
Goalkeeper Nicolas Ruccia, who was in his third game in the QMJHL, gave up eight times on 22 shots.
In Saint John, Félix-Antoine Marcotty and Mathieu Desgagnés each scored one goal and three assists in the Acadie-Bathurst Titan’s 5-3 win over the Sea Dogs.
It was Marcotty who made the difference with his second goal of the season, registered in the second period, on the power play.
Desgagnés capped the Titan’s push, who scored four times in the second period.
This is the fifth consecutive victory for the Acadie-Bathurst squad.
In Charlottetown, Cédric Desruisseaux scored his ninth goal of the season to help the Islanders defeat the Moncton Wildcats by a 4-1 score. The Quebec forward sits atop the QMJHL top scorers standings.
