After the outbreak of a first case within the team Thursday, the players and hockey staff of the Voltigeurs were placed in isolation.
The activities of the Voltigeurs are still suspended indefinitely. This is the third formation of the QMJHL to be grappled with cases of COVID-19 after the Armada of Blainville-Boisbriand and the Phœnix of Sherbrooke.
As provided for in the protocol, the Direction de santé publique du Center-du-Québec opened an investigation to assess contacts between players and staff at the Voltigeurs.
