The Elysee had promised “concrete” measures at the end of the defense council chaired by Emmanuel Macron this Sunday evening. As of Monday, the authors of 80 messages of support for the terrorist, Abdullakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old Chechen boy, will be checked, the presidency said. The head of state surrounded by six of his ministers and the anti-terrorism prosecutor, Jean-François Ricard, also announced his decision to strengthen security in schools, two days after the assassination of Samuel Paty, a teacher in a college from Conflans-Sainte-Honorine.

The Head of State “asked that we quickly take action and that no respite be left to those who organize themselves to oppose the republican order,” added the Elysee, to the outcome of this 2:30 am meeting.
