2 Vehicle Crash in Mississauga Leaves 1 Dead and 3 Injured, Police Say – Toronto | The Canadian News

A 30-year-old man died and three others were injured after a two-vehicle accident in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police said.

Emergency crews were called to the Winston Churchill Boulevard and Burnhamthorpe Road West area around 12:25 a.m. Saturday.

Const. Heather Cannon told Global News that two men who were riding in the same vehicle at the time of the accident were taken to a trauma center. She said the 30-year-old man died on the way to the hospital. The other man was transported with serious injuries, which have since not been considered life threatening.

A man and woman in the second vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Cannon added.

It is not known what caused the accident.

The major collision office was called in to investigate. Officers asked anyone who witnessed the accident or anyone with dash cam video to contact police.

Roads in the accident area were closed for investigation.
