Emergency teams were called for that accident, which involved a pickup, around 1 a.m. M.

“Attempts by witnesses and responding emergency crews were unsuccessful in removing the lone driver from the vehicle to provide emergency first aid,” police said. “A 65-year-old Edmonton man, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The RCMP said its investigation at this point suggests that the crashed truck was heading south on Highway 63 before losing control and rolling several times before stopping at the center median.
