2 Men Arrested in London, Ontario in Bank Robberies in Oakville and Burlington | The Canadian News

Halton Regional Police say two men from London, Ontario are facing charges in connection with a series of bank robberies in Oakville and Burlington dating back to 2020.

The most recent incident occurred Sunday morning at approximately 6:15 am in Oakville.

Police say two suspects entered a TD Bank lobby in Notting Hill Gate and used a plasma cutter to break into the ATM vault and steal cash.

The two suspects were identified, arrested and charged, and police were able to connect them to “similar bank robberies that occurred in Oakville and Burlington in 2020 and 2021, respectively.”

The suspects, both 37, are charged with three counts of trespassing, possession of criminally obtained property of more than $5,000, theft of more than $5,000 and possession of instruments of trespassing.
