10cm of snow forecast for Monday night in London, Ontario: Environment Canada – London | The Canadian News

Snow is on the way!

Environment Canada has issued a special meteorological declaration for London, Ontario, and much of southern Ontario.

Londoners can expect 2 to 6 cm of snow on Monday morning. An extra 5 cm is possible Monday night, forecasters say.

“Winds will shift from the northwest, creating lake-effect snow bands that will affect some areas overnight through Monday,” the statement read.

Environment Canada adds that areas near Lake Huron may not get snow because the temperatures will be too warm.

Drivers are advised to expect transportation delays and poor visibility.
